Product Description
PHOS Red and White wine varieties were conceived with a primary goal to satisfy the needs of wine connoisseurs. The crucial factors that contribute to the successful implementation of this concept are the ideal climatic and soil conditions of the cultivated slopes and the ageing procedure (both oxidative in French & American Oak barrels and reductive in bottles).
In particular, the vineyards are located at the slopes of Mount Kitheron at an elevation of 300-450m above sea level. The vineyards’ conditions with fresh mountain breeze, slight incline and beneficial soil characteristics play a significant role to the maximization of the grapes aroma and the creation of wines with full-bodied bouquets.
The available varieties for the current period, after careful selection, are SYRAH for our red wine and MALAGOUZIA for our white wine. The latter is a typical Greek variety with bright golden-yellow color and a scent of ripe fruit.
